1. Introduction
BLUE BAT CAFE LLC (“Blue Bat Cafe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides marketing and advertising services, including support for financial services and lending brands. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information in connection with bluebatcafe.net, business inquiries and our own business relationships.
Blue Bat Cafe is a marketing services provider. This website does not provide loans, accept consumer loan applications, make lending or credit decisions, or issue credit.
This policy primarily covers processing for which Blue Bat Cafe determines the purposes and means. If we process personal information solely for a client, the client’s privacy notice and our agreement with that client govern that processing. Requests about a client’s campaign may need to be directed to that client; we can help identify the appropriate contact.
This notice explains our practices. Visiting the website does not by itself provide consent to optional tracking, promotional messages or unrelated uses of your information.
2. Information we collect and its sources
Information you provide
When you email us or discuss a business relationship, we receive the contact details, business information, message content and attachments you choose to provide. This may include your name, business email, company, job role, phone number, website, marketing goals, campaign requirements and advertising budget. We also receive ordinary email routing and delivery information.
Contacting us by email
Email links on this website open your configured email application. The website does not collect or submit an inquiry through an online form. If you choose to send a message to contact@bluebatcafe.net, we receive the information and attachments included in that email. Your email provider handles sending under its own terms and privacy practices.
Business and campaign information
Clients or their authorized representatives may provide campaign objectives, performance or conversion data, creative assets, landing page information, audience insights and marketing platform information needed for an agreed project. Some of this information may be personal information. Client-provided information is handled according to the relevant service scope, agreement and applicable law. Describing these services does not mean that this website itself installs tracking tools.
Technical information
Amazon Web Services (AWS) processes technical information needed to deliver and secure this website, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser request headers and request time. Email services also process sender and recipient addresses, routing headers and delivery information. The website does not currently use visitor analytics to measure clicks, time on page or advertising audiences. We do not currently create visitor profiles or request precise device location through this website.
3. Information you should not send
Our website and contact email are for business and marketing inquiries. Do not send Social Security numbers, bank or card credentials, government identification numbers, online banking passwords, credit reports, full consumer loan applications or other sensitive financial or identity information.
Please share only information needed for your inquiry and only information you are authorized to disclose. If you send sensitive information unintentionally, contact us so we can restrict access and assess deletion. Do not resend the sensitive material in your deletion request.
5. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries, arrange discussions and prepare requested proposals or recommendations.
- Provide agreed marketing, advertising, creative and measurement services and communicate about projects.
- Manage client, supplier and business relationships and maintain relevant correspondence and records.
- Operate, troubleshoot and secure our website and email services, including spam and malware screening.
- Comply with applicable legal and contractual requirements, resolve disputes, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Where we send promotional business messages, we will follow applicable consent and marketing rules and provide a way to opt out. You may also request that promotional messages stop by emailing contact@bluebatcafe.net. Service or legal communications may still be necessary. Submitting a business inquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing.
7. Sale, sharing and opt-out signals
Blue Bat Cafe does not sell personal information for money. The current website does not disclose visitor information to advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. There are no advertising cookies or pixels active on this website to opt out of.
Some advertising-related disclosures can be a “sale” or “sharing” even without a monetary payment under applicable law. Before introducing such practices, we will update this notice and provide legally required opt-out methods. Where legally required, qualifying opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), will be honored. We do not require you to turn off such a signal to use this website.
The current website does not track visitors across third-party websites and does not change its behavior in response to the older “Do Not Track” browser setting. You can ask about sales, sharing or privacy choices by contacting contact@bluebatcafe.net.
8. Data retention
Retention depends on the information and purpose. Business correspondence is assessed according to whether an inquiry or engagement remains active, whether records are needed for contractual, accounting or legal obligations, and whether a dispute or legal claim requires preservation. We do not apply a single fixed retention period to all information.
Contact email: copies are stored in private AWS storage and in the designated Gmail inbox. These copies do not currently have an automatic expiry period. Removing an email from one location does not automatically remove the other copy or stored versions. Deletion requests therefore require review of the relevant locations, including recoverable copies, subject to applicable obligations and exceptions.
Forwarding diagnostics: application diagnostic logs are configured to expire after 30 days. They record operational identifiers, statuses and errors; the forwarding application is not designed to log email bodies. Separate forwarding-status records are stored with the mail archive and do not currently have automatic expiry.
When information is no longer reasonably required for these purposes, we will delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable retention obligations and backup restrictions. To request deletion or ask about retention of a particular record, email contact@bluebatcafe.net. Provider-managed records may be subject to the provider’s own retention requirements.
9. Security
We use safeguards appropriate to the current services, including HTTPS for the website, private access controls and encryption at rest for the AWS mail archive, and permissions limited to the email workflow. Incoming messages are scanned by SES; messages flagged as spam or malware are retained in the private archive without automatic forwarding. Screening does not guarantee that all harmful content will be detected.
No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please avoid sending passwords or sensitive financial or identity information by email. Contact us if you believe information related to this website has been exposed or misused.
10. Your rights and how to make a request
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, opt out of certain sales, sharing or targeted advertising, or appeal a decision. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. Withdrawal of consent does not change the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Email contact@bluebatcafe.net with a description of your request and enough context to identify the relevant interaction. A subject line such as “Privacy request” can help us route it. You can also write to the business mailing address in section 16.
We may request proportionate information to verify identity or an authorized agent’s authority, using existing contact or transaction details where possible. Do not send identity documents, passwords or financial credentials with your initial request. If additional verification is necessary, we will explain what is needed and how to provide it appropriately.
We will respond within the deadlines required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension, refusal or limitation. Where an appeal is available, reply to our decision or email us with “Privacy appeal” and the reason for your appeal. We will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising applicable rights. You may also complain to the competent privacy regulator.
11. California privacy rights
If you are a California resident and the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA), applies to Blue Bat Cafe and the relevant processing, you may have rights to know and access personal information, delete it, correct inaccuracies, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal treatment when exercising your rights. An authorized agent may submit a request subject to lawful verification requirements.
Sections 2, 5 and 6 describe categories and sources of information, purposes and recipients for the activities covered by this notice. These include identifiers and contact information, professional and business information, correspondence and any project information you provide, and technical internet or network information. Section 8 describes retention criteria. We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information through general inquiries.
Use the methods in section 10 to submit a request. Where the CCPA applies, qualifying access, correction and deletion requests are generally answered within 45 calendar days, with a permitted extension where necessary and notice to you. See section 7 for our current website practices concerning sale, sharing and preference signals. This section does not assert that every CCPA obligation applies to every Blue Bat Cafe activity.
12. EEA and United Kingdom
Where EEA or UK data protection law applies, the basis for processing depends on the purpose: responding to a requested proposal or performing an agreement may be necessary for a contract or pre-contract steps; routine business correspondence and service security may rely on legitimate interests balanced against your rights; legally required records may rely on a legal obligation; and activities that require consent must rely on valid consent. Optional tracking is not currently active on this website.
Applicable rights may include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. You may object to processing for direct marketing. You may also complain to your local data protection authority or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact details for Blue Bat Cafe are in section 16.
This website does not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about visitors, including lending or credit eligibility decisions.
13. International processing
The AWS resources that receive, store and forward contact email are configured in the United States (Northern Virginia). CloudFront distributes website content through its delivery network, and Google processes forwarded email under its own service arrangements. Information may therefore be processed outside your country of residence, where privacy laws may differ.
International transfer requirements depend on the law, the parties and the processing involved. Where a restricted transfer requires a lawful transfer mechanism or additional safeguards, those requirements must be addressed for that processing; use of a cloud provider alone does not establish compliance. Contact contact@bluebatcafe.net for information about the countries and safeguards relevant to your information or an agreed client engagement.
14. Third-party services and children
Third-party websites and services
Links to third-party websites, social networks or advertising platforms do not mean that Blue Bat Cafe controls their data practices. Their own privacy notices apply when you visit or use those services. Review those notices before submitting information.
Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for business users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children through general website or business inquiries. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review it and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, technology, practices or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. For material changes, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required before applying new practices. Revisit this page to review the current notice.
